About Rachel

I started practicing bodywork in the Pioneer Valley in 2002. I spent the first three years working at Ochoa Day Spa in South Hadley, which was an invaluable experience. Not only did I learn how to keep my center and stay grounded for the numerous clients I would treat in a day, but I learned the ethics of business and having a practice.

I have been in private practice since July 2005. I love what I do and what I can offer my clients. I am constantly challenged and inspired by the work and the human body, as well as by learning new techniques. In January 2022, I flew out to Boulder, Colorado, to take a 5-day Fascial Dissection Course with Tom Myers and Todd Garcia.  Here, I had the incredible opportunity to dissect a human cadaver and learn anatomy on a whole new level.

In June 2024, I completed the 640-hour Anatomy Trains Structural Integration Certification.  This has transformed my practice.

I work out of a beautiful office, Pleasant Street, in downtown Northampton, which I helped build with my own hands.  Please call or email to set up your next appointment.
